Job Description

A well-established law firm in Roseland, NJ is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney with 1–2 years of experience to join our team. Our firm represents clients across a diverse range of matters, including plaintiff-side personal injury, commercial and business litigation, real estate, and family law .

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal research.
• Attend court appearances, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
• Support senior attorneys with case strategy, trial preparation, and case management.
• Handle direct client communication with professionalism and empathy.
• Collaborate across practice areas within the firm to provide comprehensive client service.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
• 1–2 years of litigation experience (clerkship experience will be considered).
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• The annual salary for this position is between $85,000 and $125,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
