Job Title : Agile Coach

Location : H3B 2E3, Montreal, QC

Duration : 6 Months

Key Responsibilities:

Process Improvement & Optimization

• Identify inefficiencies, waste, and bottlenecks in processes.
• Define and implement metrics to promote value delivery.
• Ensure the application of best practices across all teams.
• Maintain alignment of very large, multi-team projects with overall business objectives.

Agile Coaching & Support

• Support teams in the implementation of Agile development approaches.
• Meet with stakeholders to help them adopt, deploy, and practice Agile principles.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to professionals across different business units.
• Develop and implement skills development and training activities in Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall modes.
• Address and support stakeholder fears, challenges, and resistance during transformation.

Advisory & Client Engagement

• Diagnose client environments and provide recommendations.
• Support startup or recovery of Agile projects to meet business needs.
• Monitor organizational evolution and propose solutions tailored to Agile maturity levels.
• Maintain awareness of current and future client context to identify opportunities for improvement.

Knowledge Sharing & Best Practices

• Stay at the forefront of Agile development practices and disseminate them appropriately.
• Promote the development of best practices within the organization.
• Ensure the efficient use of practices, procedures, methodologies, and tools.

Required Knowledge & Experience

• 5 8 years of relevant experience in Agile coaching, process improvement, or related roles.
• Mastery of Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Expertise in Agile values and principles.
• Experience in advisory roles with project clients (asset).
• Proven coaching and/or mentoring experience (asset).
• Familiarity with both Agile and traditional delivery methods, including:
• Agile@Scale / SAFe framework
• Lean practices
• Continuous Delivery
• DevOps

Certifications (Preferred / Required)

• PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner)
• Disciplined Agile CDAP
• SAFe SPC (SAFe Program Consultant)
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
• Or, ability to demonstrate eligibility for equivalent certifications through knowledge and experience.
